Headstrong, perspicacious and faithful to the manufacturer from his father and his grandfather, Tommaso puts forward his idea of cultivating grape vines: a quality project, aimed at obtaining rich and healthy grapes with an identity profile. The goal in winery is to genuinely preserve the quality obtained in vineyard, reflecting his philosophy of being a wine producer and wine bottler of wines considered as a sincere expression of their terroir.
Our winery and our vineyards are located in San Vito Chietino, a small hill town stretching towards the sea of the Trabocchi Coast. We are 2 kilometers far from the Adriatic sea, protected from Majella Mountain 40 kilometers behind us. From first family-owned vineyards, Tommaso has gained a solid experience in grape-growing in our territory. Looking for equilibration in vineyard soils, hand pruning and the carefull vegetative control of vines, are some of the keys in searching the genuine quality obtained in our grapes.
Since our first winery-harvest in 2000, we firmly believed that having a good wine means, first of all, growing up excellent grapes. We work a lot in vineyards because our mission in winery is to preserve and enhance naturally in our wines the terroir and the strongly identity characterization of our grapes. In bottle, we preserve the individual variety identity of Abruzzo’s ancient native grape varieties: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina and Cococciola
